Parc de la rivière
Presentation
This 18-kilometre ride offers a varied overview of the different facets of Shawinigan. You'll start out in the heart of nature, passing a charming little river, then pass through a bucolic landscape, a charming heritage village (the birthplace of the city of Shawinigan) and end up in a more urban area. There are plenty of gourmet options along the way, from picnics to on-site dining. Approximately 40% of the route is on bike paths and the rest on shared roadways, in residential neighborhoods or on a road with low traffic flow and a speed of 50 km/h. Water points, recharging stations, toilets and picnic area accessible along the route.
