This itinerary explores the duality of Laval's territory, an urban city by nature, by criss-crossing the western half of Île Jésus. From Route Verte 1, which crosses the island and leads to the heart of the village of Sainte-Rose and its bayside, to the riverside wonders of the west side of the island and its beach on the Bière des Quatre-Vents (a little break with both feet in the sand? Oh yes!), and finally to the Oka-Mont-Saint-Hilaire trail and its many Laval banks offering access to the Rivière des prairies.

Mostly on asphalt, with a gravel section beginning on Route Verte near Sainte-Rose. Varied cycling facilities and neutral gradients make this an ideal route for everyone.
