Departure : Montréal

Following the Route verte and the Trans Canada Trail, the 241-kilometre route between Montreal and Sherbrooke offers a whole new perspective on the Montérégie and Eastern Townships. With a host of gourmet stops, cultural, historical and outdoor attractions, and accommodation to suit all budgets, you can discover the Véloroute at your own pace, safely and always with fun in mind!

Mostly on 60% asphalt cycle paths, this route begins in the Montérégie region, with no significant changes in altitude for the first two sections. Once you've reached the Eastern Townships, around Eastman, you'll encounter a bit of elevation change without needing to be an expert.
