Circuit cyclable des Îles de Berthier
Presentation
This 80 km circuit on Route verte #5 offers an easy ride through the agricultural landscapes and picturesque villages of the Berthier islands, including Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola, La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Saint-Barthélemy, Maskinongé and Saint-Cuthbert. Accessible to most cyclists, with a difference in altitude of around 220 m and a duration of 3 to 6 hours, it allows you to take full advantage of the St. Lawrence River and the bucolic atmosphere of the region. Between Saint John's Day and Labor Day, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Traverse des îles ($) runs between Île-Dupas and Saint-Barthélemy, offering a pleasant break on the water in the middle of the ride. We recommend checking the schedule of the ferry boat.
