Our vineyard overlooks the Yamaska National Park and Lake Choinière. Our vines are rooted in a warm, rocky soil composed of schist, granite, silt, and clay. In the fall, our vineyard benefits from an extended season thanks to the lake, which has stored heat throughout the summer, allowing the grapes to ripen optimally. Our terroir speaks to us; we must learn to observe and decode its language. Slopes, sun exposure, prevailing winds, soil morphology, natural drainage, environment, and topography are all factors to assess before selecting and planting a grape variety.
