Biophare

Located in the heart of the Regard-sur-le-Fleuve park in Sorel-Tracy, the Biophare presents exhibitions, animations, cultural events and guided tours that allow you to discover, in a surprising and original way, the multiple heritage dimensions of the territory of the Sorel-Tracy region, the Lac Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve and the St. Lawrence River.
In 2000, UNESCO recognized the territory as the Lac Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve, in recognition of its great biodiversity and the efforts made by communities to preserve and conserve this unique ecosystem.
