Starting at Ayer’s Cliff, this cycling adventure leads to Stanstead along the Tomifobia Nature Trail, where the river and natural surroundings offer a rich and soothing backdrop. In Stanstead, take the opportunity to explore the famous Haskell Library, which adds a unique touch to the route. If you’re up for it, you can cross the border to extend the adventure on a trail along Lake Memphremagog all the way to Newport. The return trip via Fairfax Road reveals magnificent panoramic views of the mountains, before a well-deserved gourmet break.

Half of the trail follows the Tomifobia Nature Trail, which is made of rock dust and can be narrow in places. The rest of the trail is mainly on gravel roads with little traffic, except for a short section in Stanstead.
