In some places, the Véloroute runs alongside the magnificent Matapédia River, world-renowned for its salmon fishing. In other places, you can admire Lake Matapedia in all its grandeur.
Mostly paved roads, generally moderate gradients, 4 repair stations in Sayabec, Amqui (2) and Causapscal, 2 electric charging stations in Amqui, free bike rentals at Sports Experts Amqui.
