Want to discover the "Grande Champêtre" without spending the whole day? This shortened version plunges you into the heart of the superb Ardoise trail and peaceful gravel roads in the middle of the countryside. Pastoral fields, curious cows, majestic pines, typical farms and gentle valleys make up the scenery. An ideal getaway to unwind... with the added bonus of tasty gourmet stops along the way. The route alternates between stone-dusted cycle paths and quiet, mostly gravel rural roads. A few sections are on the shoulders of busier roads, where caution is advised. Shady rest stops punctuate the first part of the route, perfect for taking a breather and enjoying the scenery.
