Discover a unique 24-km loop bike route around Lake Témiscouata, combining cycling with boat crossings. This route invites you to explore Lac-Témiscouata National Park and Petit Témis by connecting different areas via the river shuttle and ferry. From the Cabano neighborhood, take a pontoon boat across the lake to the park, then cycle to the Anse-à-William Discovery Center. You’ll continue along the Grey-Owl Trail before reaching Saint-Juste-du-Lac. A second crossing will take you to the Notre-Dame-du-Lac neighborhood, from where you’ll return to your starting point.
This loop combines different types of surfaces: a stone dust trail as well as sections on a mixed-surface road consisting of gravel and asphalt. The route includes a footbridge over the Touladi River and two river crossings, each lasting about 15 minutes. The river shuttle departing from the Cabano neighborhood requires advance reservation. The route can be traveled in either direction and requires planning based on the ferry schedules.
