The Powerscourt covered bridge, also known as the Percy Bridge was built in 1861 and 1862. Recognized as a national historic site, this last remaining example of the McCallum inflexible arched truss has two arched spans and rests on three pillars. Its red-painted wooden structure is covered by a gable roof. The Powerscourt Bridge, which spans the Chateauguay River, links the municipalities of Elgin and Hinchinbrooke.
