The Montréal Art Center and Museum, located in a historic building in Griffintown, is a non-profit community arts centre that supports and showcases talented local visual and performance artists.
With week-long exhibitions given to its 45 residents as well as an emerging artist exhibition, this art centre is a veritable feast for the eyes. Art, history and culture lovers can also enjoy major 19th-century works from its Permanent Art Collection, its sumptuous Italian and French Galleries as well as the historical wax figures in its Nouvelle France Gallery, from the Grevin Museum Collection.
This dynamic multipurpose space also offers guided tours, life drawing sessions, movie screenings, venue rentals for parties, a café and a bar.
