Housed in the former stables of the Forest and Stream Club, a heritage building erected in 1874 by Alfred S. Brown, the Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage explores more than three centuries of community life. Its exhibitions highlight daily life, founding families, and the urban growth of one of Montréal’s oldest settlements. Objects, photographs, and archival materials reveal the city’s collective memory, while educational and themed activities connect heritage with contemporary identity in a unique historic setting.
