Presentation
For more than 60 years, the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC)—Canada’s largest contemporary art museum—has brought together Québec artists, their work, and diverse audiences, celebrating art as an essential part of life in Montréal and across the province. As the museum prepares to open its new home at Place des Arts in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, it is not presenting exhibitions at this time. During this transition, the MAC continues to champion emerging artists through its Habiter le MAC program, while offering cultural and educational activities in its temporary space at Place Ville Marie and off site throughout the city.
