Presentation
You've probably already noticed the old mill on Notre-Dame Street. Whether you're young or old, it holds a mysterious attraction for all of us. It's the Moulin Grenier, one of just 17 windmills still standing in Quebec. Built over 200 years ago, its mechanism is still functional, which is why it's recognized as the best-preserved windmill in the province! In fact, if it weren't for the nearby electrical wires, you could still grind grain here. Did you know that you can visit the mill? Discover the life of the millers of yesteryear and the ingenuity of their trade with our free guided tours in summer, led by a passionate team.
