Presentation
Kingsbury Marsh is located in the heart of the village of Kingsbury. It has two distinct parts: a deeper section to the north, which forms a small lake, and a shallower section to the south, which is more of a swamp. The entire area is irrigated mainly by the Rivière au Saumon, a tributary of the Rivière Saint-François that rises in Brompton Lake.
A footpath winds around the marsh through a mixed woodland. A footbridge over a dam allows you to admire a waterfall. A few mammals can be spotted. The trail, lined with interpretive panels on the marsh's flora and fauna, leads to a belvedere offering a view of the valleys and the village.
