Located in Mansfield-et-Pontefract in the Pontiac region, the George Bryson House is a heritage museum designated as a historic monument of Quebec, open only during the summer, from June 30 to August 30. Located on the banks of the Ottawa River, across from Quebec’s longest covered bridge, it showcases the history, culture, and heritage of the Pontiac region. Visitors can explore exhibits, admire 19th-century architecture, and visit a genealogy center unique to the region—the perfect place to trace their ancestors with the help of passionate volunteers.
