Located 300 meters from the Lièvre River, the Société d’histoire de Buckingham is an interpretation center featuring a permanent exhibition that traces the development of the Buckingham sector since 1824. A testament to a rich industrial past shaped by forestry, mining, and chemical processing, the site still includes a one-kilometer section of a former log slide, now transformed into a walking trail and bike path. Visitors can walk along its structure and cross the river while immersing themselves in local history.
