Once a bustling railway hub, Windsor Station stands today as a true masterpiece of Romanesque Revival architecture. Built in the late 19th century for the Canadian Pacific Railway by the same architects behind the Château Frontenac and the Banff Springs Hotel, it served for decades as a key landmark in Canada’s rail network. While it no longer welcomes passengers, the station remains a prestigious venue for large-scale events. Its signature feature, the Salle des pas perdus, offers a vast, light-filled hall crowned by a glass roof. The building also houses modern office spaces and retail areas, blending historic character with contemporary utility.
