Gare patrimoniale Lac-Mégantic

The Lac-Mégantic Heritage Train Station is an architectural and heritage gem in the heart of the town. Today, it's home to the public piano, welcoming amateur and professional musicians. Citizens gather here for lively activities at the Place Éphémère. Since summer 2024, it has hosted five exhibitions, "Solidarity at the heart of our memory", "On the rails of time", "History of Lac-Mégantic", "Clovis, caribou-hunting people" and an exhibition on the microgrid. It is also the starting point for guided tours of the microgrid interpretation circuit.
The station is also the starting point for many tourists, as it serves as a tourist information office.
