Domaine Pyrus

Domaine Pyrus is a family-run business offering mainly pear-based alcoholic beverages, honey and pears when they're plentiful. In 2013, co-owners Charles and Chantal purchased land that was primarily used for hay. From 2015 to 2020, Charles planted the 1843 pear trees (10 varieties) at the orchard with the aim of making pear-based alcoholic beverages. In 2019, Chantal added a beekeeping component to the business to help pollinate the orchard. From the very first summer of beekeeping, we realized by the taste of our honey that we were in an exceptional terroir. In 2023, we began marketing our first pear wine.
