Domaine Pyrus
Presentation
Domaine Pyrus is a family-run business that offers mainly pear-based alcoholic beverages, as well as honey and pears when they are plentiful. In 2013, co-owners Charles and Chantal acquired land primarily used for hay production. From 2015 to 2020, Charles planted 1,843 pear trees of 10 varieties in the orchard, with the aim of making pear-based alcoholic beverages. In 2019, Chantal added a beekeeping component to the business to help pollinate the orchard. From the very first summer of beekeeping, the taste of our honey made us realize that we were in an exceptional terroir.
